Dr. Deepak Gupta is a Clinical Optometrist and Director of The Center for Keratoconus at Spector Eye Care. Dr. Gupta received his Doctorate in Optometry from the New England College of Optometry where he was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and named as a Sola Quest Scholar. His clinical areas of interest and specialization include the examination and fitting of routine as well as complex contact lenses including for keratoconus as well as the diagnosis and management of anterior and posterior segment eye diseases.
Dr. Gupta is recognized for his contributions to eye care education having been the Founding Course Director for The Optometric Management Symposium on Contemporary Eye Care, the author of the textbook Glaucoma Diagnosis and Management and the Founding Editor-In-Chief of Contemporary Optometry, a monthly newsletter dedicated to providing quality continuing education to Optometrists. In addition, Dr. Gupta is respected for clinical expertise having been named as one of “America’s Top Optometrists” by Consumer Research Council of America and having served as a Delegate At Large for the White House Conference On Aging.
Deepak Gupta, O.D., D.A.A.O. is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and has authored more than 125 articles and presented over 100 lectures to eye care professionals throughout the United States.
