Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I am Dr. Scott Spector and I wanted to tell you a bit about who we are. In addition I would like to congratulate you on taking the first step in assuring your eye health and vision by becoming an educated and informed patient.

My staff and I strive to provide personal and individualized eye health and vision care for each and every patient. My goal is not to be the busiest eye surgeon in Connecticut, but to have the best outcomes, the best success rates and the happiest patients. We specialize in state-of-the-art cataract surgery, LASIK and the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eyes and diabetic retinopathy. The purpose of this website is to deliver the essential information patients need to make intelligent choices regarding these conditions and procedures. The decision to have laser vision correction or cataract surgery is an important one that ultimately only you can make in consultation with a qualified physician. It is important you have expectations based on facts, NOT hopes or misconceptions. I believe that a skilled surgeon paying meticulous attention to all the details—before, during and after the procedure, obtains the best surgical results. That is why I am committed to personally providing your post-operative care whenever possible.
