Preventative eye care and routine eye health evaluations are critical and should never be overlooked. For patients over the age of 40, we typically recommend annual eye examinations. For patients over 60, we often recommend visits twice yearly to closely monitor changes in vision and eye health.
Recently, we were pleased to add Dr. Burrows to our team. As a pediatric ophthalmologist, Dr. Burrows specializes in examining children as well as patients with eye muscle imbalances and related vision conditions.

Eye Exams
Healthy eyes begin with routine eye exams. In addition to prescriptions for eyeglasses, an eye exam can detect changes in your eyes that may indicate more serious conditions elsewhere in your body. Your eye exam will include a thorough evaluation of your visual function and ocular health, as well as a refraction test to determine your need for glasses and/or contacts. Refraction tests may include dilation, but ask your technician about our new Optomap Retinal Exam, which skips the hassle of having your eye dilated.
