I am 55, and had been wearing contacts since I was about 20. Over the last few years, the contacts had not been working out well, which had been annoying because I find it hard to wear a mask while wearing glasses, and the contacts were starting to feel irritated. I heard about Dr. Spector from my late Father in Law, and a few others, so I decided to get lasik. My prescription is not too bad, and I already was used to readers at 1.50, so making the change was easy. The surgery was so easy. I had no problem at all with the fact that it was my eyes being worked on. I credit Dr. Spector and the staff. Throughout the whole process, from the first appointment all the way to my follow up, they all were so caring and attentive. Dr. Spector was very accomodating, making sure to give me all the information I needed to make whatever decision I needed to make. Thank you! It is now 6 months post surgery, I regret not doing it sooner! I am into photography, and looking through the viewfinder with no glasses is great. I also drive long distance regularly, so being able to wear nice cool sunglasses which are not prescription, has been wonderful. One last comment is that removing makeup with contacts in is frustrating. Also, forgetting to put contacts in until after makeup has been put on can be disastrous. I had an appointment to be refracted yesterday but I was more concerned about another eye issue that had developed. It was an absolute pleasure meeting Dr. Ma. He attended to my issue and today my eye is 99% improved. Dr. Ma is kind, patient, attentive and professional. Thank you Dr. Ma.

Nice place to go to get good treatment for your eyes

I had both eyes done with the best lens available and I am very happy with the results. Dr. Spector did a fantastic job. For those who are thinking about getting these lenses I would highly recommend them and Dr. Spector.

In 2021 I had my cataracts done on both eyes. Before the procedure Dr. Spector clearly explained in detail all the possible venues for the operation to assure me that everything would be under control. I decided for the laser surgery and I can tell you I’m very happy with the result ! Now I can see all the objects in their sharp details and brilliant colors without missing the hues. Considering where I was before the operation and where I’m now It seems to me like a new lease on life !!!

Thank you Dr. Spector for restoring my sight. Last winter I worried every time I walked my dog because I could not see black ice until I was right in front of it. After your excellent cataract surgery I am now able to see what is ahead of me and no longer fear I will fall. This is a HUGE improvement in my quality of life. Thanks!

I had cataract surgery with PanOptix lenses both eyes performed by Dr. Spector and his team. For the first time in long long time I can function without glasses. I was well on the way to recovery within the first 24 hours. You notice immediately a change in the brightness of colors. Dr Spector has state of the art equipment and a wonderful staff. His bedside manner is awesome. He explains things well answering all questions. My wife went to Dr Spector first but her cataracts are not far along as mine were. I’m telling her now I wish I did this way earlier.
